Voltage regulator 1702.3702-01

General information:

The voltage regulator 1702.3702-01 is purposed for voltage maintenance of the onboard vehicle network in predetermined limits in all system operation modes of electrical equipment at change of the rotation frequency of the alternator rotor, electrical load and environment temperature.

Application: automobiles with carbureted engines VAZ-2108, -09, -10, VAZ-21213, “Oka” with an alternator 37.3701 or its modifications. The voltage regulator 1702.3702-01 is a functionally improved analogue of the regulator

The voltage regulator ensures the optimal charging mode of modern (“calcium” and others) batteries that require an increased charging voltage.

The voltage regulator 1702.3702-01 is a regulator of the highest class. The regulator output switch is made under MOSFET technology owing to that the losses of power given off in the form of heat have been sharply lowered; the regulator reliability has been enlarged. The heating of the regulator relative to environment temperature is less than 5°C, which allowed to provide the exact characteristic of the regulating voltage thermal compensation.

Due to usage of the additional wire, voltage on the alternator is maintained directly on the alternator output terminal. Herewith are reached the highest parameters of the current velocity and load characteristics. It prolongs battery life cycle, provides optimal operating modes of all using equipment increasing thus reliability of all automobile electrical equipment.

The regulator is produced in a single climatic design O2.1 in accordance with GOST 15150 for internal market and for export. On extent of protection against penetration of foreign bodies and water, the item meets design IP57 in accordance with EN 60529. An operating mode of the regulator is S1 in accordance with DSTU GOST 3940.

The regulator is installed directly on the alternator, where the setting of regulators 1702.3702-01 or 1702.3702-02 is stipulated with the help of standard screws , the additional wire is fixed on the standard screw of the "30" circuit. It is not recommended to set the voltage regulator 1702.3702-01 on the alternators in the automobiles with the electrical circuit that differs from the typical one. An indication of misfit to the circuit diagram or alternator type is a shortage of wire length, operation of the engine is possible after ignition cutoff.

The warranty period of exploitation is 3 years from the date of commissioning or from the date of sale in retail commercial network. The warranty obligations of the manufacturer are valid during four years from the date of the item production. The date of production is marked on the case of the item housing.
