General information:
Ignition controller with internal idle economizer control unit (IECU) 1103.3734 is purposed for
operation in contactless ignition systems and they ensure uninterrupted spark formation in the
operating frequencies range of crankshaft rotation and also switching on/off of idle economizer
electromagnetic valve in order to increase fuel saving and reduce toxicity of vehicle exhaust
gases.
Applicability: "Tavria", "Slavuta" beginning from November 2001 year of manufacture, "SENS"
(carburettor).
The units operate together with the ignition coil 40.3705, 27.3705 or any other with analogous
parameters and is controled by a signal of Hall effect sensor, built-in in the allocator with the
input ratio from 1,3 up to 1,6.
The unit ensures:
- control of the idle economizer electromagnetic valve;
- protection of the idle economizer valve control circuit
from a short-circuit on "mass" of the vehicle;
- protection from resistance reduction of idle economizer
valve circuit;
- bringing of the stabilized supply voltage to the Hall sensor.
According to requirements to ignition systems, ignition controller ensures
Hall sensor protection*
against overvoltage by stabilization of voltage fed to the sensor.
The unit is produced in single climatic design О2.1 in accordance with GOST 15150 for internal
market and for export. It is designed on a single-wire power circuit, the unit housing is
connected to the vehicle housing. The unit 1103.3734 operates together with an ignition coil of
type 40.3705, 27.3705, 3122.3705 or any other with analogous parameters and is controled by a
signal of Hall effect sensor, built-in in the allocator. An operating mode of the unit in
accordance with GOST 3940 is continuous nominal S1.
The unit plug is analogous to plugs of ignition controllers
3620.3734, 3640.3734, 0529.3734, 0729.3734. The outputs are
designed in such a way that it is permited the use of the
unit instead of the ignition controller on automobiles where
ignition controllers 3620.3734, 3640.3734, 0529.3734, 0729.3734
and other are applied. Thus control functions of internal
idle economizer control unit are performed by the standard
IECU and the unit performes only functions of the ignition
controller. For this aim it is necessary to connect pins 2
and 3 of the standard ignition controller plug.
The unit 1103.3734 is mounted on a stipulated for it setting in the vehicle with the help of
standard fastenings and a standard plug.
The warranty period of exploitation is 3 years from the date of commissioning or from the date of
sale in retail commercial network. The warranty obligations of the manufacturer are valid during 4
years from the date of the item production.
