The ignition controller 3640.3734 is purposed for operation in breakerless ignition systems
of automobiles VAZ - 2108, VAZ - 2109, «Tavria» and others including the automobiles of
foreign production equipped by analogous ignition systems with the Hall effect sensor.
The ignition controller operates together with the ignition coil 27.3705 and ignition
allocator 40.3706, 53.3706 or others with analogous parameters.
At the expense of the increased current it has an increased energy of a spark formation that
improves the engine start in cold time and improves the engine operation at bad fuel.
On the contact №7 is stipulated the presence of an output low-voltage control signal for
systems of electrical equipment with an electronic tachometer or with other devices.
In the ignition controller 3640.3734 as a switching element a traditional bipolar
transistor is used.
Operation with the disconnected battery or at its failure is not permited. A spark
formation (even a short-lived one) without the interference supression resistor (located in
the allocator) is not permited. In this mode is possible an irreversible damage of the
control diagram which at the further operation will lead to overheating and failure of the
ignition controller. For the same reason it is not permited to check the working ability of
the ignition controller on the test stands that are made without taking into account the
requirements over correspondence of vehicle ignition system to the scheme.
According to requirements to ignition systems, ignition controller ensures
Hall sensor protection*
against overvoltage by stabilization of voltage fed to the sensor.
The ignition controller is produced in a single climatic design U2.1 in accordance with
GOST 15150 for internal market and for export. The ignition controller is designed on a
single-wire power circuit in which the negative output of the supply voltage is connected to
