General information:
The automobile fan switching sensor of TM108M 3808000 G .. 3808000-08G type is purposed for
control of fan operation in the engine cooling system of vehicles of VAZ, AZLK, ZAZ production.
The sensor is designed on a two-wire power circuit; the item housing is isolated from the
electric circuit. The fan switching sensor together with the intermittent relay with nominal
control current up to 0,2 A is used in a system of an electrical equipment with nominal voltage
of direct current 12 V.
The sensor complies with the requirements of GOST 3940 and is produced in a single climatic
design U in accordance with GOST 15150 for internal market and for export.
The variants of design and types of automobiles in which it is possible to set the sensor
TM108M, are shown in the table.
The given item maintains serviceability at the change of supply voltage from 10,8 V up to
15 V and also has protection against polarity reversal of supply voltage. It is possible
to produce the sensor over personal order with the different switch on/off temperature.
The fan switching-on sensors ТM108М are set in the radiator of vehicle cooling system.
Connection of sensor pins:
- conductor "+12V" - to the contact of the ignition coil "+12V"or to some other point of
the circuit +12V;
- "UPR" (marked by yellow mark) - to the pin of fan control relay coil;
- "0V" - to "mass" of the vehicle.
By the erroneous switching-on of the contacts "UPR" and "0V" the fan starts operating
right after vehicle ignition switching-on.
The warranty period of exploitation is 3 years from the date of commissioning or
from the date of sale in retail commercial network. The warranty obligations of the
manufacturer are valid during 4 years from the date of the item production.
